Tours can be attended only with prior registration.

Our Events Calendar lists all dates of public city tours. We are currently presenting a city tour on the following theme:

Tour of the historic city centre

Our tour of Freising’s historic city centre takes in the main sights around the Town Hall and Cathedral Hill and gives an overview of how the oldest city on the River Isar came to be.

Together with our city guides, discover the winding streets of Freising's town and learn interesting facts about the special features of the oldest city on the Isar between the magnificent facades, the town hall, the parish church of St. George and the former canons' houses. Marvel at the almost 4000-year history of the Domberg and hear interesting facts about the development of the former prince-bishop's residence.
