Long Night of Freising's City History

Rediscover Freising on July 31. For one night.

For the tenth time, the city of Freising invites you to discover the city through a diverse program of guided tours on a balmy summer evening. A total of 27 short tours will explore fascinating topics, lesser-known places, and surprising perspectives. In addition to popular “classics,” there are several “newcomers” that showcase Freising from a completely new angle.

From 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., you can explore historic buildings and churches, learn about fascinating figures, and visit places that are otherwise off-limits. To wrap up the evening, you can bring the “Long Night” to a close with a musical performance at St. George’s Parish Church (free admission).
