Guided tour “Freising made easy”
This tour for children takes us through the alleys of the old town and up to the cathedral hill. Why did the bishops of Freising live in a castle? What story does the beast column tell? What were the duties of the executioner and the tower keeper? In language suitable for children, the tour recounts what life was like in a bishop's town on the Isar river, how people lived at that time, and what occupations they had.

The tourist information office offers exciting guided tours for school groups, hiking days, or project days. Our city guides know how to entertain each age group and spark their interest in the city's history. Upon request, we can tailor the topics to your individual needs.
